At the request of our heroes in USDA, the UK regulatory agency DEFRA has investigated and  corrected the regulations and after 4 months of quarantine our bucks will be permitted to enter the collection facility.  We are getting closer to a very exciting infusion of fresh genes into our population of beloved Guernsey goats.  There are still hurdles to overcome - the collection itself, another round of quarantine and disease testing, and the export logistics. But we are back on the road!
