The Issue

I came to Canada with hopes of building a new and safe life for myself and my daughter. Unfortunately, we found ourselves in an abusive relationship that shattered those hopes. We are now struggling to continue living in the country that has become our home. Our only hope is to gain Permanent Residency (PR) on Humanitarian and Compassionate grounds.

My daughter was born here in Canada, and uprooting her from this familiar environment would not only jeopardize her well-being but also compel her to endure the hardships that await us back home. I have no support system in my home country, and returning would mean facing extreme difficulties without any assistance.

Here in Canada, I have found invaluable support from family friends and local violence centers, who have helped us with counseling and basic necessities. This support has been crucial for our safety and well-being, something that we will lose entirely if we are deported.

In Canada, my daughter has access to quality education, healthcare, and a supportive community. She deserves a stable and nurturing environment, one that will lay the foundation for her future. Denying us the chance to remain here could severely impact her development and safety.

I am humbly reaching out to you to support my appeal to obtain PR for me and my child under humanitarian and compassionate grounds. This is our only chance to escape the cycle of abuse and adversity, and to secure a future filled with hope and potential.

By signing this petition, you will not only help us but also support countless other families who find themselves in similar situations, looking for a chance to rebuild their lives with dignity and peace.
