I’m Parker Yearego, and I’m running for Class President.

I’ve spent the last several years as a Division I student athlete, which has taught me a lot about teamwork, accountability, communication, and balancing a lot of responsibilities at once.

I believe the role of Class President should be about representing the class, not telling the class what it should care about.

My plan is to send out a short, optional survey every two weeks to see what issues, concerns, and ideas are most important to our class. I’ll use that feedback to figure out what our priorities are, advocate for them with student leadership and administration, and report back to the class on what I’ve done.

I also want to be someone you feel comfortable approaching in school with questions, concerns, or ideas. I want to be a president who listens, represents, and follows through. You should have a voice in what our class advocates for.
