Community Petition in Support of Our Neighborhood Farmers Market

We, the undersigned residents, proudly support the creation of a Neighborhood Farmers Market at our local park.

This market will:

 • Feature local vendors and local  produce featuring exotic fruits and fresh, healthy foods as well as a variety of international cuisine.  Patrons can enjoy a picnic at the park or take some home to enjoy with family and friends.  

 • Be thoughtfully located along 82nd Avenue, ensuring it does not interfere with regular park activities or nearby homes.

 • Include a designated Quiet Hour to make the market welcoming and accessible for individuals with special needs.

 • Offer a Young Entrepreneurs Table, encouraging our youth to develop creativity, responsibility, and community spirit.      

• Include a book exchange sponsored by our local library. 

•Support a local Girl Scout troop, offering a safe space  free of charge to promote and sell their products. 

We believe this market will strengthen neighborhood connections, promote wellness, and celebrate the diversity and talent within our community.
