Teachers are at school to teach ONLY. Not to try to indoctrinate our children or shove their political beliefs down our children’s throats. If a student knows where a teacher stands politically they have failed as a teacher. 

Our children deserve better. Do you really want to send your kid off to school knowing a teacher said “Charlie Kirk has been calling for this”. Knowing a teacher is okay with people getting assassinated just because he doesn’t share the same views as him.  Do you want your kids being taught by someone who is okay with murder?

Aylward has some achievements while in the band, yes. He has taken the band pretty far. But that doesn’t excuse his actions. 

I am a former student from Miamisburg. I was even in the band and taught my Aylward himself. Me personally, I didn’t have a great experience in the band. I quit my senior year because I couldn’t take it anymore. I loved music. I loved playing an instrument. But I couldn’t stand the way I was being treated in the band. A lot of tears were shed. And Aylward has his favorites. I’m not the only one who had a bad experience in the band. I know a lot of people who have. And most of them are willing to share their story. And some even have on the Miamisburg Facebook chat. You can’t just say whatever you want because you’re to some people your a good band teacher that has won some awards.

So please sign this petition. Keep the children away from this man who is okay with murder. No one asks to be murdered. He wasn’t calling for it. No one ever calls for themselves to be assassinated.
