Save the National Dex for Pokemon Sword & Shield

Save the National Dex for Pokemon Sword & Shield
The Issue
On June 11, during Nintendo's E3 "Treehouse" gameplay stream, it was announced that Game Freak would not bring back the full roster of Pokemon for the upcoming game Pokemon Sword and Shield. Game Freak has claimed that this sacrifice is for higher quality animations and that the rule will stay for future games in the series.
Of course, people are not happy at all. In addition to some not being able to transfer their favourite Pokemon companion to the latest games, people have accused Game Freak of reusing animations from the 3DS games; basically, people think Game Freak is lying as an excuse to rush the game out for it's November release. The press has reported on this as well, with sites such as Kotaku and Mashable SE Asia putting out articles based on the controversy; even Know Your Meme, a site that records memes, has a page dedicated to the protest.
Twitter users have joined the cause, too! A user named after the protest tweeted the following: "Just to let ya know that @Pokemon is deleting comments on their FaceBook page. #SwordAndShield are doomed because they refuse to take criticism." Another user who happens to be an Animation and 3D Modelling student has tweeted a video of his homemade Wingull animation which is a lot better than Game Freak's; you can check out his video here.
And in a failed attempt to kill the controversy, Masuda released a statement composed of a bunch of PR baloney, basically saying, "oh, we can't guarantee your Pokemon will be in the next game, let alone this one, but HEY, there's a chance! You just have to pay us a fee to keep it on our server until we choose your Pokemon!"
If Game Freak really cared about quality, they would have delayed the game to say, 2020, to take their time to incorporate every Pokemon, create new animations and overall create the best Pokemon game to date. But no, they only care about sales, hence why they're cutting the National Dex and reusing animations to rush it our for Christmas.
We can do this. We are Pokemon fans united. Remember what happened with Xbox's DRM controversy? The fans petitioned, and they got their way! If we can get a Battlefront 2 level argument going, we can change everything! So who's with me? #BringBackNationalDex
