As a group of concerned local neighbors and business owners, we are coming together to address the misinformation spreading about the potential development of a new Hyatt Hotel in a vacant land parcel at the Indian Trace Shopping Center in Sunrise, Florida. This initiative aims to fortify our local business community and nurture the modernization and sustainable future of our cherished community.

It has come to our attention that a petition opposing this development is being circulated based on incorrect information. It is crucial to clarify that the proposed hotel construction site is a vacant land parcel, and contrary to circulating ideas, the existing shopping center will not be demolished. The development plans are designed to complement the existing facilities and provide a boost to local businesses by attracting guests and potential consumers. Also, due to the proposed design and location of the building, it will not be visible by the residential community that is more than 500 feet away to the north.

The benefits of building a new Hyatt Hotel in our community are substantial. Local businesses will gain increased foot traffic, supporting economic growth and stability. Employment opportunities will surge, offering new jobs in construction, hospitality, and related sectors. This initiative will also encourage further investment in our area, fostering a thriving, prosperous environment.

Moreover, the development aligns with modern and sustainable principles, incorporating environmentally friendly designs and practices. Also, a full traffic study has been performed and analyzed by the City. This will ensure that growth does not come at the expense of our environment and infraestructure, maintaining the balance needed for a sustainable future.

Our mission is to ensure that accurate information prevails and that the community is genuinely informed about the advantages of this proposal. Let us stand together to support the development of the Hyatt Hotel and foster the growth and sustainability of our community.

We ask for your support in this initiative to stop misinformation, back our local business community, and champion a thriving, sustainable future for Sunrise. Please sign this petition to help make this vision a reality.
