My name is Naro Chopjian and I am running for Secretary. I want to use my leadership experience and organizational skills to help our class run smoothly. I believe the Secretary has an important role in making sure information is communicated clearly and that our class leadership has the support it needs.

During my time at the University of Michigan, I served as President of the Armenian Club and as a board member of my pre-law fraternity. These positions gave me experience organizing events, communicating with other students, and working with a team to accomplish shared goals. They also taught me how important it is to stay organized, follow through on responsibilities, and be someone others can rely on.

I am passionate about law and excited to be pursuing a legal education. I want to bring that same enthusiasm to serving my classmates. I am naturally organized and enjoy keeping track of important information and deadlines. As Secretary, I would make sure that important information reaches our class in a timely manner and that meetings and activities are properly documented. I also want to be someone my classmates feel comfortable coming to with questions or concerns.

My goal as Secretary is to create greater transparency between our class and student leadership. I want my classmates to feel informed about what is happening and confident that their concerns and ideas are being heard. I would be grateful for the opportunity to serve my class and use my previous leadership experience to make our law school experience more organized, transparent, and supportive.
