Support my candidacy for SBA 1L Class President at Detroit Mercy Law
The Issue
My name is Mariam Faleh and I recently moved here from out of state, embarking on this new journey at Detroit Mercy School of Law. Transitioning to a new city and school can be challenging, but it has inspired me to dive headfirst into building lasting connections and contributing to our vibrant community. Running for the Student Bar Association 1L Class President is not just about embracing opportunities, but about taking the initiative to make a lasting impact and develop relationships with my class.
Advocating for others has always been a deep passion of mine, and I am committed to being a voice for my peers. As Class President, my goal would be to ensure that every student feels heard, valued, and represented in meetings where they might not otherwise have a presence. I strive to be a reliable person my peers can come to voice their concerns and ideas the betterment of our law school and class.
In envisioning the path forward as 1L class president, I plan to prioritize transparency, communication, and collaboration. With your support, I believe we can create stronger bonds both within our class and with the broader Detroit Mercy Law community, ensuring our law school experience is enriching and fulfilling. I am more than eager to serve and represent you all, and I am committed to giving my utmost effort to achieve the best outcomes for us in every situation.
I believe I am a strong candidate for 1L class president because I am not afraid to use my voice, I am approachable, organized, and committed to being a resource for my class. I am a good listener and I am someone who can work well with others which make me ideal for this position!
Our voices matter, even as 1Ls who have just started this crazy journey and together, we can make a significant impact. Please sign the petition to support my candidacy for SBA 1L Class President at Detroit Mercy School of Law; your support means the world!
