Hi everyone! My name is Isabella Toma, and I am running for 1L Class Secretary! During undergrad, I served as President of Helping Hands, a nonprofit I founded, and Internal President of Empowering Women in Law at the same time. Both organizations had weekly executive board meetings, and I was responsible for creating meeting outlines beforehand, taking notes during meetings, and keeping everyone organized with plans, reminders, emails, and sign-ups. Since a big part of the 1L Secretary role is keeping accurate records of meetings and attendance, I feel like this experience directly prepared me for the position.

I am also someone who genuinely loves being involved and getting to know people. I am usually the person my friends come to when they need to know where something is, what the plan is, or what is going on. I would love the opportunity to bring that same organization, reliability, and energy to SBA and represent our 1L class!
