With this in mind, the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District is facing serious budget cuts and our music programs need YOUR support. Some of the cuts being considered will significantly affect the quality of our music programs. The current proposal includes eliminating one elementary music position. More music positions are being questioned at the middle and high school levels. If music is important to you and an important part of your child’s education, now is the time to speak up!
