Hi everyone, 

I want to let you know that the City Council will be meeting tonight at 6pm. In reading the staff report, it appears that the City is positioning itself to move away from one of the key principles of this housing statement that over 300 of you have signed on in support of. Specifically, the City is considering withdrawing all city-owned sites in the civic center from the housing inventory. This would be contrary to the idea of integrating housing - especially more affordable rental housing - throughout the City, and would also then make it more difficult to accommodate enough new housing elsewhere in the City to meet our community's fair share.
