Kidney disease is rising fast in Western Australia, and our dialysis units are struggling to keep up. Patients are waiting longer for life-saving treatment, hospitals are overwhelmed, and healthcare staff are burning out.

I’m a dialysis nurse, and I see the pressure every day. We need more dialysis units—especially in Western Australia—to meet the growing need and protect patients’ health and dignity.

This petition calls on the WA Government and the Health Minister to:

• Fund and build more dialysis units across WA
• Improve access to treatment, especially in underserved areas
• Support the hardworking staff keeping this system afloat
