This isn't very pleasant. The tenants of the condemned building at 501 West 7th Street in Plainfield, New Jersey because of the 235 outstanding violations in all 49 apartments found by the state of New Jersey after a thorough inspection that were never addressed. The building owners fired the management company after the violations were found. The mayor addressed the problem and said that the landlord has been driven by greed and profit instead of addressing the needs and concerns of their tenants. This is serious and this issue needs to be addressed. Something needs to be done and consequences also need to be put on this landlord and others like this one so this will not happen again in the future.
