The Pennsylvania Counseling Association announced yesterday that the Pennsylvania House passed SB 604. Once signed into law, Pennsylvania will become the 40th state to join the Interstate Counseling Compact, expanding access to mental health care and increasing opportunities for licensed professional counselors to practice across participating Compact states. The the bill now goes to Governor Josh Shapiro’s desk for signature.
As PA joins the Counseling Compact, allowing licensed clinicians from other states to serve clients in PA, our push to increase access for licensed clinicians within PA to serve clients in PA.
