We support Mississauga Mayor Carolyn Parrish in her goal to defund Peel Police.

Parrish rightly resigned from the Police Services Board in protest of the Peel Police budget, saying that the budget is “killing the people we represent.”

As Mayor Parrish said, the Peel Police budget is “unfair” and “the battle is not over yet.”
