Heck, hanging out in a dingy room and waiting to share my thoughts with people who (in my opinion) don't like what I have to say doesn't top my list, either. Please write all alders & Mayor Soglin, and tell them: -To approve the mayoral proclamation in support of Madison PD -To reimburse Chief Koval's full legal fees -To fund the hiring of additional police officers to satisfy the city's growing needs. Alders: allalders@cityofmadison.com Mayor Soglin: mayor@cityofmadison.com Takes a few minutes. Simple. The meeting starts at 6:30PM, Tuesday, May 2, and meets in the City-County building. I can' t tell you for certain the exact time the public will get to speak. When you arrive on the second floor, you'll see a table with registration forms. Make sure to fill one out, and indicate if you'd like to speak. You get three minutes to say your peace. You can leave whenever you'd like. You can even just fill out the reg form indicating your support for reimbursing Chief Koval his legal fees and the mayoral proclamation, then split.
