Since my last post, several of you have asked about setting up a fund to pay Chief Koval's legal fees. Thank you for your thoughtfulness! And trust me, we'd love to do this. But we can't because there are city policies prohibiting this - as a city employee, the chief is unable to accept cash. There are unfortunately some mean-spirited, spiteful people who would love to hurt our beloved chief & force. Let's not give them any ammunition. Please express yourself by writing a letter to the editor and / or to Chief Koval. I know the support will mean a lot to him. I'd appreciate it if you could share this information with others.
