Props to those of you who attended the Midvale Heights Neighborhood Watch meeting this past Tuesday. At first we were concerned that being Valentine's Day, the turnout would be dismal. Boy, were we wrong. About 70 to 80 were in attendance to watch Officer Carren Corcoran and her beloved K9 partner, Slim give their presentation. For those of you unable to attend, I have some pics to share with you. (I'm digging your new tee-shirt design.) As a dedicated animal lover, I can attest that these dogs are well-loved and cared for. This is not the first time I've heard from Carren that she won't subject Slim to any apparent danger. Some people balk because they think dogs shouldn't have to "work." Work? Are you kidding?
