The reason I ask about your plans is because the Midvale Heights Neighborhood Watch group is hosting its holiday gala & meeting on Tuesday, December 13 . . . and we'd love it if you could stop by. So why should you spend an evening with us rather than snuggled up at home? Here are three good reasons . . . 1. Chief Koval is our featured guest. He's not only an engaging speaker, but kind, too. Don't be shy about introducing yourself, either - behind the uniform is a genuine person. 2. Volunteers with Capital K-9s will sell tee shirts, stuffed K-9s, and other swag. Perfect timing for the holidays! 3. Meet new friends. We're a friendly group. No pretenses, no egos - just neighbors looking out for each other. If this sounds good, here are the deets . . . WHEN: Tuesday, December 13, starts at 6:30PM. WHERE: Midvale Community Lutheran Church, 4329 Tokay Boulevard in Madison. We meet in the basement. COST: Free WHO: All are invited. You don't need to live in Midvale Heights to attend. SNACKS: Provided There's no obligation, but if you're able, our volunteers are collecting product donations for the Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (DAIS). Their wish list is at http://abuseintervention.org/sandbox77/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Holiday-Wish-List.pdf Bundle up warmly and join us next Tuesday. All the best. : ) --Paula Fitzsimmons
