My daughter has been part of the LJM Dance School family for five years now, and during this time, I've witnessed her growth and the expansion of her opportunities as a result of this wonderful institution. LJM opens doors for children of all ages and abilities, fostering creativity, discipline, and a love for the arts. The school has played a pivotal role in shaping her confidence and abilities, providing a nurturing environment where she, alongside many others, can thrive.

Recently, LJM applied to South Ayrshire Council to renovate a vacant building in Ayr. This expansion not only represents a significant milestone in the growth of the school but also promises broader opportunities for current and future students. The intention is to offer enhanced facilities that would support a larger number of families and potentially bring more cultural vibrancy to our community.

However, this exciting application was rejected due to concerns over parking issues. While these concerns are understandable, they should not overshadow the vast benefits this project would bring to our children and community as a whole. Proper collaboration and dialogue can undoubtedly yield solutions that cater to both the council's logistical concerns and the vital needs of the school and its students.

We believe that with community support and constructive negotiation, LJM can work with South Ayrshire Council to address parking concerns, perhaps by organizing community transport or scheduling classes to optimize existing parking spaces. Moving forward with this project could be an enriching gift to our children, providing them with an upgraded environment to pursue their passions and fostering community pride and cohesion.
