I'm thrilled to announce that my peer-reviewed commentary article "Patient Viewpoint: The Case for Exploring Non-Seizure Alternatives to ECT" has been officially published in a respected medical journal, The International Journal of Risk & Safety in Medicine! 

This article builds on the same concerns I raised in my legislative testimony that sparked this petition. The article calls for expanded research into treatment alternatives before subjecting patients to electroconvulsive therapy - exactly the kind of patient-centered approach that legislation like H.B. No. 6167 would help protect. 🛡️
