Because of you, we've hit a major milestone: 20,000 signatures on our petition advocating for tiny houses in Australia! Our campaigning has garnered media attention, with the most recent being coverage from ABC News. Now, we need your help to reach our next goal of 100,000 signatures before we deliver the petition to Hon. In recent developments, some councils have expressed interest in exploring policies to incorporate tiny houses as a permanent housing option, a significant step forward for our campaign. However, we still need to ensure that our voices are heard at the highest levels of government to enact meaningful change. Australians STILL need housing options that are affordable, flexible and eco-friendly, but councils are not moving quickly enough to legalise tiny house living. Most councils don't have legislation that allows people to live in them full-time.
