Hi everyone

Thank you all once again for signing and sharing our petition.

Last Saturday in Dublin, Irish Actors Equity held a rally in support of the SAG-Aftra/WGA strikes in the US, and also to draw attention to the disparity of payment and treatment between the indigenous Irish casts and crews Vs their visiting colleagues from abroad. The day was a great success.

We are thrilled by the response and outreach of this campaign. The petition closes on September 1st, after which Irish Actors Equity will begin meetings with government ministers and officials to make their case.

I will be in touch one more time (next week) with one final ask (PROMISE!). Until then, if you can, we would ask you to continue sharing, either on social media or amongst friends, family and colleagues. Every signature helps. And, obviously, if you are connected with anyone who has visibility in our industry, having them sign would bolster this cause even further.
