FIFA responsible for tragic passing of Sahar Khodayari

FIFA will send a delegation to meet with Iranian authorities...but they should have taken action much earlier to prevent the heartbreaking passing of #BlueGirl Sahar Khodayari. They should have enforced their own rules against gender discrimination and stopped the ban.

In this article, I am raising the #NoBan4Women banner as the security guard harasses me. For four decades, countless Iranian women including Sahar and I were verbally, emotionally, psychologically, and physically abused by those who uphold the discriminatory ban.
