The issue

An investigation into the group of Churches of which Brisbane Christian Fellowship and Melbourne Christian Fellowship form a part, commenced on 1 December 2024. The investigation is being conducted by a privately funded organization called Samson Rising. We refer to the group of churches as the CFO (the Christian Fellowship Organization).

The Samson Rising website has received hundreds of survey results testifying to crimes and abuse, including sexual abuse of children and psychological abuse of teenagers and young adults who attended the CFO. The results also indicate possible financial corruption and coercion of women and men, leading to family breakdown, homelessness, and financial suffering by those who no longer wish to attend the CFO.

These results suggest the opportunity for voluntary reform has passed.

Samson Rising will present the evidence uncovered to the:

·         ACNC (Australian Charities and not for Profit Commission, and

·         Office of Fair Trading in Queensland (and it’s equivalent in other States)

We would like authorities to take over the investigations and to make findings as to whether the CFO:

·         Is correctly registered as a ‘Charity’ and

·         Whether the CFO's policies and procedures are in the ‘Public interest’.

Negative findings by these authorities could result in the payment of compensation to victims, distribution of over $100,000,000 in CFO assets to other charities, and disqualification of individuals from holding the offices within the CFO.

We want an independent investigation to confirm or dispel the huge number of disturbing complaints we have received.

By signing this petition, you will greatly increase the likelihood of relevant authorities investigating.

We ask for your support.
