I have always searched for a mobile device that assists me in maintaining a balance between digital detox and productivity. Unfortunately, I've never been able to find such a device in India. This personal struggle led me to envision a solution: creating a detox device by India, of India, and for India.

In today's world, many of us find ourselves trapped in a cycle of "doomscrolling", spending countless hours on our phones, consuming endless streams of information. This habit not only affects our mental wellbeing but can significantly reduce our productivity, disrupt our sleep, and even negatively impact our relationships. According to a recent study by Financial Express, the average Indian spends over 4 hours on their phone daily. With statistics showing the adverse effects of excessive screen time, it's time we take control over our digital lives.

We propose developing India's first digital minimalist mobile phone, designed specifically to help users break free from the cycle of doomscrolling. This phone will include features such as:

- Limited access to social media apps, helping reduce needless scrolling.
- Integrated essentials like WhatsApp, Maps, Email, Uber, UPI, Spotify & more.
- Design that inspires productivity and not consumption.
- A mechanical QWERTY keypad that brings purpose to typing.
- A high-end camera system.
- A look that blends classics like Blackberry series & the Motorola Razr into a minimalist device that belongs in the future.

Building such a device within India not only tackles the issue of screen time but supports local innovation and manufacturing.
