We need your support for the Homewood project so we can all enjoy it for years to come!

Since 1962, Homewood Mountain Resort has been a cherished local ski area. Our 2011 approved Master Plan includes significant investments in ski infrastructure, environmental improvements, and a residential and hotel unit development to fund these enhancements. With our current partners, we can finally bring this vision to life.

We need the Homewood and West Shore communities to unite to reopen the ski resort and proceed with these vital investments.

Our proposed amendment to the Master Plan is a minor site plan adjustment that:

• Optimizes the location of the gondola path and base terminal.
• Reduces building density and improves view corridors.
• Secures public ski access and includes long-term pricing guarantees for full-time residents.

Homewood Mountain Resort's future is at risk. Now is the time for the community to come together, support the project, and help secure approvals in January 2025.

We need your help to make this happen and reopen the mountain for everyone to enjoy.

Outcome of the recent TRPA Advisory Planning Commission Meeting
The TRPA Advisory Planning Commission recommended approval of the amendments, with a request to clarify key terms in the public access plan, monitoring, and enforcement. The project is now expected to be considered for final action by the TRPA Governing Board at its regular monthly meeting on January 22, 2025.
