Garyn Daniels has been involved in this community since he was 18 years old. He personally coached my 3 kids and goes above and beyond the calling of coach. He has coached hundreds of kids and has continued to be a mentor to them long after they have finished playing on his team. He has helped to provide jobs for teens and opened up new opportunities for kids daily. He represents a great deal of good in this community for Kent Parks and Recreation and to know he has done this all while being treated in an unfair manner is disheartening. To know there is a potential that young kids might not get the same opportunities as my kids and so many others have been given is concerning. The leaders of this city should be doing what they can to give all kids the best possible programs and leaders and not trying to get rid of them. To know Garyn’s character is to know he would rather suffer behind closed doors for the good of these kids and that just isn’t right. He would never ask for this kind of help but I think it is only right the community knows something isn’t right. He deserves our support in the same way he has supported many of families and I ask that you sign this petition in order to show the leaders of the Kent community exactly how much he means to us and that he deserves to be treated fairly for all his work in the city. To lose him in this city would reprehensible and we stand in support of him.
