The Issue

GALWAY DOWNS needs our help!

Unfortunately, Galway Downs and the rural equestrian lifestyle it represents are under threat.

A small but vocal opposition is using misinformation to try and shut down Galway’s ability to host events and maintain financial stability. If they succeed, the foundation of this historic equestrian center will collapse. When equestrian facilities cannot sustain themselves, they are often sold and developed.

The goal at Galway Downs is simple; continue to foster, build, and promote a premier equestrian facility and region, within the Valley of Horses, that is sustainable for today and future generations.

Through years of investment, hard work, and community support, Galway Downs has grown from multiple bankruptcies into a world-renowned venue. It is a symbol of what is possible when equestrian rural heritage, community support, and sustainability come together.

Without economically viable operations, the Valley of Horses could become the Valley of Houses.

This is not just about one facility. It is about preserving the character, culture, and economic future of Temecula Wine Country Equestrian District.

Stand with Galway Downs and support:

●  Building a premier equestrian facility and region

●  Reasonable updates to ordinances that protect both rural character  and rural jobs

●  Sustainable business models and uses that provide financial stability for ranches

●  Ranches and neighbors working collaboratively

●  Keeping Valley of Horses from becoming Valley of Houses

Protect our Past and Provide for our Future!

All are encouraged to contact Galway Downs Directly via email at: info@GalwayDowns.com. They are sincerely wanting an open, transparent  process and are receptive to comment and suggestions.
