Support funding for T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire

Support funding for T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire
The Issue
Three years ago, our family was navigating a difficult time. Our daughter was struggling emotionally, feeling overshadowed as much of our attention was focused on our autistic son. Thankfully, we found T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire, a lifesaving charity dedicated to Tourettes and tics awareness. Through their sibling support group, our daughter found a place where she felt understood. Fast forward to today, and both our children are thriving, attending their weekly ADHD group, which identified and addressed tics in both children and helped secure a Tourettes syndrome diagnosis for our daughter.
However, the future of T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire is in jeopardy. They've been informed that their funding will be cut, an action that would have catastrophic consequences for countless families like ours, who depend on their exceptional programs. T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire provides critical support, raising awareness, offering educational resources within the community, running weekly Tourettes, ADHD and sibling support groups, and giving advice to many families that addresses the unique challenges faced by children dealing with similar difficulties.
The work of T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire is not just beneficial; it's essential. The loss of their services would leave a significant void in the lives of many children and their families who find solace and support in their offerings. The charity's programs have empowered parents and children to navigate complex conditions with greater confidence and clarity.
We urge policymakers and community leaders not to turn their backs on such a pivotal institution. Keeping this charity funded means safeguarding the mental health and well-being of vulnerable families across Hull and Yorkshire. In a region already facing substantial challenges in mental health services, it is imperative to maintain the invaluable work done by T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire.
Join us in urging the continued support and funding of T.I.C Hull and Yorkshire. Sign this petition to help prevent the eradication of a lifeline that so many depend on. Your signature can make a difference in preserving hope and stability for our community.
