I want to thank everyone for being active and engaged on this topic! Getting almost 500 signatures in less than 24 hours is way quicker than I would have imagined. Keep the support coming and share on social media to increase awareness within the community. I spoke with two alderman yesterday and both are supportive of our project continuing. I am still waiting to hear back from much of the board. 

The next step is a special session planned for October 10, 2022 where the board will be discussing the ARPA funding and the items planned for that funding. I will let everyone know if any additional attendance or communications are required as I learn more, but I believe this collection of names will be helpful in showing our support for this initiative without becoming a disruption to the city’s business  

For those that have “supported” this petition financially, thank you! I will admit that I am not sure how that part of this works, but am working to better understand this feature. Personally, I do not think we need financial support at this time, but if you feel led to do so, I will do my best to ensure the funding is utilized in the best manner possible.
