We are parents, guardians, students and community members of the Forest Hills Public School district who support the construction of a cellphone tower on the Forest Hills Eastern campus. 

Here is the “why”:

• School safety audits have found the lack of cellphone service is a safety risk to students in the event of an emergency 
• Students who rely on medical devices for monitoring of certain conditions such as diabetes require cellphone connectivity
• Contracted staff, such as nurses, do not have reliable cell service that is required for their jobs
• Athletic events & After school activities create an environment where both students, parents and visitors do not have reliable cellphone connection. 
• FHPS has the opportunity to capture funds that could potentially fund programming or infrastructure improvements within the district 

These are some of the reasons why we support the construction of a new cell phone tower on the Forest Hills Eastern campus. The area around FHE has grown in population and FHE continues to be a busy location in Ada. The time is now to ensure we meet the demand for reliable cellphone service for our community.
