We are closing in on almost 400 supporters across multiple neighborhoods! Let's keep it going and shoot for over 500. I plan to print and personally hand this petition directly to the administration and board of trustees with all of your comments. We had a huge turn out last night. Every single person basically supported our position in various ways. We even had a large number of current CTMS and past CTMS students speak their minds. I was proud to be a member of this community. It's becoming crystal clear to me that we are taking the right approach of finding common ground, focusing on solutions that work for everyone, and approaching the board as an ally rather than an enemy. I'm basing this on several conversations I've had with board members and the administration. Tonight is the final public hearing at Walsh Middle School. The next milestone is the public review period ending October 13th. The Administration then gets a week to prepare the final proposal that will be presented to the board at the regular meeting October 20th. We are confident that they are listening and will incorporate our feedback. That gives us just 2 weeks to make our voices heard! Keep spreading the good word, lets get everyone involved.
