Juan Lucio is a committed and inspiring environmentalist campaigning to establish sustainable settlement and agricultural university in a community owned region of the Amazon rainforest.

28 years after the first plans were submitted, he continues to rally support for his cause. The lands which he needs and loves are under attack by illegal logging operations and destructive farming practises. Government officials are slow to make any meaningful progress.

He has a dream of a city amongst the jungle incorporating a university which specialises in agriculture, environmental studies and sustainable industry. He also plans to launch a carbon credit scheme for local and international corporations to offset their carbon emissions.
