Councillors Mark Swivel and Alan Hunter have always been supporters of the Rail Trail and have said they will be supporitng it at council tomorrow. This is great news, but still means the vote will be very close. There are so far only 4 out of 9 councillors that have said they will support the Rail Trail. They are myself, Michael Lyon, Mark Swivel and Alan Hunter.

When I started this petition I was expecting a couple of hundred locals to show their support - we have just passed 5680 signatures! Well done to everyone.
