We call for the development of a safe, accessible greenway linking Haddenham and Thame. This dedicated walking, cycling and wheeling route would offer a sustainable, traffic-free alternative to the current A418, which is unsafe for non-motorised users. 

A greenway would:

• Promote active travel – encouraging walking, cycling, and healthier lifestyles.
• Improve safety – particularly for children, commuters, and recreational users.
• Reduce traffic congestion and emissions between our communities.
• Strengthen local ties – making it easier to access schools, shops, and public transport hubs such as Haddenham & Thame Parkway station.

This is a practical, environmentally responsible investment in our local infrastructure. We urge local councils, transport authorities, and funding bodies to prioritise the planning and delivery of this much-needed route.
