Support Fleet Farm Event for Puppy Jake Foundation
The Issue
I work at Fleet Farm in Ankeny, Iowa, and alongside two amazing colleagues, I volunteer for the Puppy Jake Foundation located in Urbandale, Iowa. We are passionate about what Puppy Jake Foundation does – they train dogs to become service dogs for veterans, many of whom suffer from PTSD. As a veteran myself, and joined by another service advisor at Fleet Farm who is also a veteran, this cause is incredibly close to our hearts. One of our other devoted coworkers also dedicates time to volunteer with the foundation, underscoring how important this initiative is to us collectively.
We want to host an event at our Fleet Farm store to educate the public, raise awareness, and generate support for the Puppy Jake Foundation. This event aims to provide knowledge about the mission of the foundation and how it is positively impacting the lives of veterans. It is an opportunity for our community to come together, learn, and contribute towards a cause that honors those who have served our country.
The event is not just about raising funds or gathering donations, it's about strengthening our community ties and showing our veterans that we value their sacrifices. Every dollar raised and every volunteer recruited through this event will contribute directly to the training of service dogs, subsequently making a life-changing difference for veterans in need.
We envision a day filled with informative sessions, live demonstrations, and heartfelt stories from those who have experienced the positive impact of having a service dog. We invite local businesses and community members to join hands in making this event successful by contributing, collaborating, or simply attending and learning.
Join me in asking Fleet Farm and The Puppy Jake Foundation to come together see what a great partnership can be formed in the interest of community and support for out Veterans.
Your interest and support are pivotal in bringing this event to life. By signing this petition, you express your willingness to attend the event and possibly donate to this worthy cause. Together, we can create a ripple effect of change and ensure our veterans get the support they so rightfully deserve.
