On June 10, 2021, the 22nd anniversary of the founding of 610 Office, an extralegal agency created to persecute the spiritual discipline Falun Gong, authorities in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province arrested 28 practitioners, using the excuse to “maintain security” in light of the upcoming July 1 centennial celebration of the Chinese Communist Party.

The new wave of arrests and harassment is also the continuation of the “Zero-out” campaign – the communist regime’s latest effort since last year to force every Falun Gong practitioner on its blacklist to renounce their faith.
