Our bill has officially been assigned to the Senate Education Committee for review. This is where a bill can be moved through, or die - we need to let the Committee Members know that this issue is important, and needs to be advanced.

COPY MESSAGE BELOW:

Dear Senator,

I am writing to respectfully ask for your support of S4349, known as the Anderson Amendments.

This bill addresses an unintended inequity in New Jersey preschool lottery systems that can leave twins and higher-order multiples with unequal access to publicly funded preschool opportunities. Currently, whether twins are linked in a preschool lottery depends on the district in which a family lives, creating inconsistent access across the state.

S4349 would establish clear, statewide protections for twins and multiples in preschool lottery systems and extend existing classroom placement protections to include preschool. These changes help ensure that families of multiples have equal access to early childhood education regardless of where they live.

I urge you to support S4349 and help move it forward through the legislative process. Thank you for your time, consideration, and commitment to New Jersey's children and families.

Sincerely,
[Name]
