One week after using his pulpit to publicly oppose Dr. Tiffany Regan’s appointment as superintendent, Pastor Doug Harris delivered a second sermon reaffirming his stance.
In his March 24 message, he said:
“I still stand very firmly upon those statements… It’s not necessarily a fight against a particular individual, but against an ideology that has permeated our society.”
While softening his tone slightly, he continued to frame LGBTQ+ identity as a danger to students, warning of “indoctrinization and sexualization of our children.” He also revealed plans to meet face-to-face with Dr. Regan to confront her with “what God’s word says.”
This is not accountability—it’s coercion. And it reinforces why our community must speak out.
