We Still Need Your Help to Save the LIC Gantry Farm Stand!

The LIC Gantry Farm Stand will remain at its current location through the fall of this year, however beyond that our future remains uncertain.
Despite months of effort, our conversations with elected officials have not yet resulted in a secure, permanent site for the farm stand. This means that without real action, the LIC Gantry farm stand will close after this fall.
If you believe in food access and the value of fresh, affordable produce in Long Island City, we need you to act today:
➡️ Share our petition far and wide
➡️ Contact your local elected officials and let them know this matters to you, your family, and your neighbors:
- State Senator Kristen Gonzalez — gonzalez@nysenate.gov
- Council Member Julie Won — district26@council.nyc.gov
➡️ Show up and speak out
📅 Save the Date: Wednesday, May 21 | 6–9 p.m.
Community Boards 1 and 2 will host a special public hearing on the Long Island City Neighborhood Plan (OneLIC). This is your chance to testify and share your priorities including the future of the Connected Chef and our LIC Gantry Urban Farm Stand.
📍 LaGuardia Community College, 31-10 Thomson Ave
Please note: the hearing may run longer than scheduled.
Every voice counts. Help us show that our community is involved and won’t stand for inaction.
Thank you for your support.
