Hello everyone!

My name is Ava Hoskey, and I am excited to announce my candidacy for one of the class representative positions for our 1L class at the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM). During my undergraduate studies, I often felt there were limited opportunities to engage with fellow classmates in a meaningful way. However, in our vibrant UDM community, opportunities abound, and I am eager to get involved and bring positive change as your class representative.

Though I have not previously served in student government, I am a reliable and dedicated individual who prioritizes responsiveness and support for others. My goal is to foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels heard and valued in our law school journey. I am committed to advocating for initiatives that will benefit our class, such as creating more networking events, enhancing communication channels between students and faculty, and ensuring our needs are addressed thoroughly by the administration. With your support, I aim to work collaboratively to ensure our 1L class thrives in an environment conducive to both academic success and personal growth.

Please sign this petition to support my candidacy for UDM 1L Class Representative and help create a more engaging and supportive environment for all of us.
