From the moment I launched this petition, I believed that our community had the passion, the history, and the wind to host something truly historic. What started as a bold idea grew into a citywide movement one backed by athletes, leaders, and supporters like you.
And now, it’s real.
This win belongs to all of us, to everyone who signed, shared, and championed the message that San Pedro is not just a port, but a platform for legacy, excellence, and opportunity.
As we look ahead to LA28, I’m filled with excitement, not just for the racing to come, but for the future we’re building together: one that lifts youth, empowers our community, and welcomes the world to our shoreline.
