This Memorial Day, as we reflect on service, sacrifice, and community, there’s no better time to take action for a cause that brings people together.

We’re working hard to bring the 2028 Olympic sailing events to San Pedro a place with deep maritime roots, diverse youth programs, and the perfect waterfront setting to showcase the sport. But to make this happen, we need more voices behind us.

Here’s what’s important to know:

• The venue in San Pedro has already been approved by the City of Los Angeles, and LA28 left this out of the of the press release. 
• The International Olympic Committee (IOC), World Sailing, and top global sailing leaders know San Pedro has what it takes, and the best choice for our sport.
