Support Animal Activist Chetan Patel against Defamation and Unjust Animal Relocation
The Issue
My name is Chetan Patel, professionally a Mental Health Counselor as well as a dedicated animal rights activist working tirelessly to protect our community animals from cruelty and harassment, protecting rights of community and wild animals, Over the years, my efforts have aided countless vulnerable animals and helped hundreds of feeders nationally, who are compassionate for all living creatures and taking care of them, but today, I find myself targeted with defamation by Sagar Lingyat calls himself Police Officer and another individual who calls himself officer of Municipal Corporation water department, a detractor who has not only maligned my name but is also striving to relocate community animals unjustly.
Sagar Lingyat also has problems with pets and pet parents and even harass and prohibits pet parents from walking their pets within society for no reason but just because he don't like pets and community animals, as he don't want pets and community animals in his building or anywhere nearby his building and other nearby societies. Sagar Lingyat with his friend also tries multiple ways to harm community animals in his society and nearby societies.
This behavior not only poses a threat to my reputation, but it also jeopardizes the welfare of our beloved community animals, stripping them of their habitats and homes. Sagar's actions are in stark contradiction to the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act (PCA Act), which aims to prevent the infliction of unnecessary pain or suffering on animals.
Every day, compassionate individuals are harassed by Co-Op Housing Societies and locals for feeding and caring for these vulnerable creatures. Worldwide, there are an estimated 600 million stray animals (source: World Health Organization), underscoring the vital importance of local community involvement. We must not let efforts to protect and care for these animals be demoralized by baseless defamation and proposed relocation.
I appeal to all who believe in the sanctity of life, the protection of the innocent, and the pursuit of justice to support me fight back against this defamation and prevent the unnecessary displacement of our community's animals. If we unite and raise our voices against this injustice, we can make a significant difference. Sign this petition today to send a clear message that we will not tolerate defamation and we stand in solidarity with those who protect animal rights.
