To Mayor Mamdani and the City of New York:

We respectfully support Andre James, New York native, technology systems professional, entrepreneur, and Founder & CEO of Muons Technology, for consideration for appointment to an appropriate New York City board, commission, advisory council, or task force related to emerging technology, quantum innovation, youth work force, agriculture, climate, food security, digital infrastructure, economic development, or community innovation.

Andre supports Mayor Mamdani’s Profit-Sharing Deal: In exchange for the public investment, New York City will receive a 15% share of revenue received by NYU’s central administration from intellectual property and technologies developed using the city-funded equipment.

Andre brings experience from highly regulated technology environments and is now developing patent-pending  Quantum Sensing technology through Muons Technology involving offline AI, trusted digital records, advanced sensing, agriculture, and food security. He has already proposed exploring a focused NYC pilot involving willing participants in the Hunts Point food supply chain to examine produce-condition and custody records, operational resilience, and responsible data governance.

His perspective can help connect the Mayor’s public agenda with practical challenges facing food systems, emerging technology, economic opportunity, infrastructure, and historically underrepresented technology founders.

We believe New York City benefits when its boards and commissions include residents who are not only technologists and entrepreneurs, but people with lived experience who understand how emerging technologies can be translated into public benefit.

We therefore respectfully ask Mayor Mamdani and the appropriate City officials to consider Andre James for appointment to a relevant NYC board, commission, advisory council, or task force where his technical, entrepreneurial, and community perspective can serve New Yorkers.

This petition is not a request for a City contract, procurement preference, or special commercial treatment for Muons Technology. It is a request for Andre James to be considered for public service based on his individual experience, qualifications, commitment to New York City, and alignment with a more inclusive and forward-looking city.
