We, members of the DayZ community, are writing to express our strong support, appreciation, and respect for Terje, creator of some of the most influential and widely used mods in the DayZ ecosystem.

Terje’s work has significantly enhanced gameplay depth, realism, and server diversity across both PvE and PvP environments. Many server owners and players rely on his systems as core components that shape their entire gameplay experience. The quality, stability, and design philosophy behind these mods represent a standard that is rare in community-driven development.

Terje has released his work as open source, in full alignment with Bohemia Interactive’s modding policies that allow and support open-source usage. This decision reflects not only technical skill, but also exceptional generosity and commitment to the community.

We would especially like to acknowledge the sacrifice and dedication behind this work. Terje has shown the entire DayZ community what true passion, professionalism, and integrity look like in mod development. Through his actions, he has helped countless servers, developers, and players, and has set an example of how powerful and positive community-driven development can be.
