As a long time resident of Corte Madera and a Marin Native,  I have a plan to open a coffee cart at Piccolo Pavilion in Menke Park.  I would like to demonstrate to the city that residents would support the first ever coffee cart in Corte Madera.  This isn't just about serving delicious baked goods - though rest assured there will be plenty of those including gluten-free, vegan, keto-friendly and dairy-free options along with traditional favorites. It's about creating a gathering spot for everyone - commuters heading to work early in the morning, parents before and after drop off, WFH for a pick-me-up and empty nesters who are looking for some friendly conversation or a game of backgammon over a cuppa. 

Amy's "Local Buzz" is more than just another coffee shop; it is an initiative that aims to bring our community closer together while making full use of the beautiful park we all love so much. According to research by Stanford University’s Project for Good Spaces (2015), such places promote social interaction within communities which can lead to stronger social ties and improved quality of life.
