A petition initiated by I-Aware (International Association For Women's Advocacy & Rights Malaysia)

Aisyah has taken a stand against clubbing afterparties, arguing that they do not align with Malaysia's cultural heritage. Now, we're seeing this young woman being attacked online for standing up for what she believes in - preserving our culture and values. She has been met with intense backlash for her stance and becoming the cyber-bully victim. We must rally behind her to show that we will not tolerate bullying or the erosion of our cultural values.

Clubbing afterparties are often associated with negative social impacts such as substance abuse and crime rates (World Health Organization). In Malaysia specifically, these events can clash with the traditional values held by many citizens.

We believe in freedom of expression and respect for all cultures - including ours here in Malaysia. It is time to take action against cyberbullying while also preserving our rich cultural heritage.
